OUR MINISTRIES

Welcome to St. Paul AME Church where the proud history and tradition of the African Methodist Episcopal Church come together, inspiring a diverse membership, which ranges from the very young to the very “wise’.

Sunday School and Worship Service

Sunday School and Worship Service on Sunday mornings are staples of our spiritual ministries.  We welcome you to share in this Sunday morning experience where you’ll find a welcoming congregation and a ‘sweet spirit” to greet you.

St. Paul houses a Senior Nutrition Program from Monday through Friday, where activities and meals are provided for the “wise’.

 Church Ambassador and Usher

Our Church Ambassador and Usher ministries are trained to greet, assess and provide for your needs, whether it includes an order of worship program, escorting a child to our staffed Nursery or assistance in locating the perfect pew or seat.

Youth Programs

Our Youth Programs are available to all youth interested in choir, praise dancing as well as Youth Bible Study and Young People’s Development meetings which alternate on Wednesdays of each week at 6:00 p.m..

Music Ministry

Our Music Ministry is an outstanding entity of the Worship experience at St. Paul A.M.E., because you will be uplifted and delighted at the choices and variety from which to enjoy and rejoice.  The Youth of our church spread joy with the Little Angels Choir and Praise Dancers, while the adults provide us with five (5) other exciting choirs.  The Cathedral Choir, Shekinah, Voices, L.D. Male Chorus, Voices of St. Paul and the F. J. Duncombe Praise Singers.  Each component with its own descriptive styles lifts the spirits of the oppressed by offering praises to God and exalting His name in song for His goodness.  All musical components are directed and accompanied by accomplished musicians.

L.I.F.T. Ministry

L.I.F.T. Ministry (Ladies in Faith Together) is organized to support the church through outreach programs such as the "Clothes Closet," which is available to the community on Thursdays from 10 am until noon.  The organization also provides on-site support for various needs and physical enhancements of the church facility through fundraising activities and projects.
